Teachable moment! Piggybacking on the sticker post from Monday, here we have a window cling for the Tri-State Corvette Association (www.tristatecorvetteassn.com) that the client would like to be applied without adhesive to the inside of the Vette window. In mass, a label printing company might need thousands of these before the price becomes reasonable because of the set up steps required, but short runs are best left to a digital printer (like us!)
.
There's some tricks here, though. Working through the challenges, the decal needs to apply inside the window so we need a clear static cling substrate then have to mirror/flip the artwork and print it reversed and then add a white backer either via white ink or a substrate. Both are effective but we usually look at the quantity required and decide from there. The results are perfectly effective and the client is happy.
